Laurel Canyon

Hey! Just a couple shots from my one-night-stay in Laurel Canyon. This area has a unique, artistic vibe and I loved the evening light across the canyon. I went on a long walk that night. It was the perfect temperature outside and it was fun to look at all the houses along the windy roads. This stay involved a series of unfortunate events however, including burning the crap out of my hand with boiling water. It’s healed quickly though so all is good. These photos are much prettier than my hand atm.

Ei!

The last time I was in Vegas I was 16 years old and I was there for a family reunion. It was fun - we ate well, went to a Cirque du Soleil show ... and I pined for the nightlife I could not participate in the whole time! I had been wanting to return now that I'm well-passed 21 and I finally got the opportunity a couple weeks ago! Here are some photos from the adventure. I hope you enjoy!

Desert Dessert

A few weekends ago I went on a little day trip to the desert. I just needed some silence and solitude. I love me some city, but I can't live without my nature. There is something so magical about the desert and its muted shades. No harsh hues but lots of snarled cacti that will insert themselves in your feet via your open-toed sandals ... BEWARE ;).

Brunch with a View

This past Sunday I got to catch up with my friend Stacey who I haven't seen since we studied abroad together in Rio! It's been three years! It was yet another birthday brunch - this time up in the hills with a beautiful view. A breakfast buffet, bottomless mimosas, and lots to catch up on is a recipe for a good time. I was watching my roommate's dog Jackson this week so after brunch I scooped him up at home and we went on a little hike along the beach. He just wanted to run and run. He's a tiny yorkie so I didn't expect him to be as fast as he was - a fun surprise :). And the sunset was the perfect end to one of my favorite weekends I've had in LA thus far.
